Polytechnic Lodge Elects New Master

W. Bro. Michael Mulqueen, LGR Elected Worshipful Master for 2025–2026

We are delighted to announce that Worshipful Brother Michael Mulqueen, LGR has been elected as the Worshipful Master of our Lodge for the 2025–2026 year.

W. Bro. Michael is a highly respected and well-loved member of our Lodge. With a wealth of Masonic experience and a deep commitment to our values and traditions, his return to the Chair is warmly welcomed by all.

Michael previously served with distinction as Worshipful Master in 2015–2016, during which time he impressively delivered all three degrees in his year. Following his time in the Chair, he took on the vital role of Lodge Mentor, where he played a key part in the development of many newer Brethren. His efforts not only strengthened the Masonic knowledge and confidence of our members but also led to the introduction of several new Personal members into the Lodge.

As we look ahead to the coming year, the Lodge is excited and optimistic about the future under W. Bro. Michael’s leadership once again. His experience, passion, and dedication will undoubtedly ensure a successful and rewarding year for us all.

In addition to his contributions within our Lodge, W. Bro. Michael is also a Past Master of Weald Lodge No. 2707 in the Province of Essex, further highlighting his broad Masonic experience and dedication.

Worshipful Brother Michael said,  “It is a great honour being elected as the Worshipful Master of the Polytechnic Lodge in its 125th  year since consecration.  The Lodge has a great history and is extremely well spoken about throughout Metropolitan Grand Lodge. I am looking forward to steering the ship forward during my year. We have many new candidates and joining members waiting to join and become part of our Lodge. With careful planning and the experience and enthusiasm of my Officers for the year, I have every confidence we all enjoy this special Quasquicentennial year.”

We look forward to supporting him in all his endeavours and sharing another memorable chapter in the life of our Lodge.
