The Polytechnic Lodge

It is often said by our members and within our Inspectorate that there is far more about The Polytechnic Lodge than just holding four regular meetings a year.

Since our last regular meeting in March, The Polytechnic Lodge has gathered together at a summer BBQ (Persian Style) hosted by one of our members, was represented at the MetGL Summer Garden Party, and held a surprise birthday party for a member of our lodge in a haunted hotel in Essex. Guests from as far afield as Thailand, Spain, and Glasgow attended the function along with some 21 members of The Polytechnic Lodge with their partners and their children. Full details of these events feature in the next edition of the Lodge Newsletter published next month. More trips are planned for the remainder of the year. A trip to the Griffin Fuller’s Brewery in Chiswick, the Ceremony of the Keys at the Tower of London, and a Christmas luncheon are already in the making.

Without a doubt, The Polytechnic Lodge is far more than four meetings a year.
