86 St James Ltd is the catering arm of the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons located in St. James’s Street in London close to Buckingham Palace.
Our last Christmas luncheon saw thirty-four members of the lodge and our partners gathered together for what turned out to be a most enjoyable day, kicking off at the bar at the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons at Mark Masons Hall in the fashionable St. James’s Street, London. After a few welcome drinks at the bar to warm our cockles and to set us in the mood, we went downstairs to the 86 St James’s Carvery Restaurant located in the Euston Room on the first floor at Mark Masons Hall.
The carvery restaurant is open exclusively to members of Mark Masons Hall and their guests and offers a perfectly cooked selection of hot roasts, vegetarian and fish options. On offer to us on the day was a very impressive selection of mouth-watering roast rib of beef, roast loin of pork, honey roast gammon, roast turkey along with a fantastic selection from the hors d’oeuvres and dessert trolley. The wine flowed fast and freely as we enjoyed the spirit and festivities of the day. It was great seeing so many members of the lodge and their partners socialising in this way.
We stayed together enjoying the feast and excellent company for over four hours and whilst some of us headed for home, feeling rather bloated and ready for a night of sleep, a number of us went on for more excitement to pastures new.
