Polytechnic Lodge Emergency Meeting held for another Passing and Initiation

With such a backlog caused by both the suspension of masonic activities during Covid 19 and the growing strength of The Polytechnic Lodge, an Emergency Meeting was held on a Saturday afternoon at Mark Masons Hall.

Brother Sebastiaan Eldritch-Boersen and his Hearing Assistance Dog ‘Arlo’ were passed to the degree of a Fellowcraft. Read more about Bro. Sebastiaan and ‘Arlo’ in the new style edition of The Polytechnic Lodge quarterly Newsletter to be published next month.

At the emergency meeting there followed hot on the heels of the Passing Ceremony, the initiation of Brother Adrian Badea, aged 36, a Director of a Construction Company. Attending the meeting to witness Brother Adrian’s initiation were two of his closest friends who flew over 1,300 miles from Romania to watch and congratulate our newly made member. Brothers Razvan Buburuz and Marius Crisan from Tracia Sacra Lodge No. 412 from the Grand Lodge of Romania said, “Seeing our best friend and now Brother initiated into freemasonry was a great honor and pleasure for us. We truly hope to see our new friends of The Polytechnic Lodge join us at one of our meetings in Bucharest.”
